Responsible Gaming
The Global Gambling Guidance Group, also known as G4, is an organisation working actively with problem gambling. As an accredited G4 company Net Entertainment takes an active role in addressing this topic. The CasinoModule™ provides full support of the guidelines set by G4 in relation to customer protection and it is up to each online gaming operator to decide if they wish to activate the settings or not.
G4 was initiated by a group of international experts in the field of remote and e-gaming from Australia, the Netherlands, UK and Sweden. They have many years experience of the gambling industry and have set up guidelines that aim to aid responsible gambling behaviour among the players. G4 has international accreditation and encourages responsible gambling programmes devising and delivering training courses for staff at gambling venues, as well as running help lines and face to face counselling services for problem gamblers themselves.
Net Entertainment provides full support of the G4 guidelines since 2004 and we actively talk to our licensees with regards to this. We are convinced that the private operators will face requirements from the authorities moving forward and they will be forced to take active measures against problem gambling. Malta which offers licenses to online gaming operators has a set of requirements that need to be fulfilled. Naturally the software from Net Entertainment offers full support of the above mentioned implementation.
